“Nigeria is a very big team, not reliant on just one player. Even though Osimhen is out, the whole team of Nigeria is a strong team not just a player.”

Following the press conference, the Libyan team conducted their final training session.

The Super Eagles’ press conference, initially scheduled for 5pm was delayed for an hour after the Libyan team raised concerns about Nigerian journalists observing their training.
