Nwabali Names Mamelodi Sundowns’ Williams World’s Best Goalkeeper
Stanley Nwabali has named Mamelodi Sundowns’ Rowen Williams the best goalkeeper in the world.
Williams is among the goalkeepers nominated for the Ballon d’or award.
The 32-year-old had a stellar campaign with Mamelodi Sundowns last season.
The shot stopper played an overall 46 matches, conceded 19 goals, while keeping 30 clean sheets for the Brazilians.

He also kept fine clean sheets for South Africa at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, with the Bafana Bafana finishing in third position.
” I really see Ronwen Williams and not because we are in the same league,” the Nigerian told iDiski Times.
“But I really see him as the best goalkeeper in the world. He really inspires me with how he plays, and I’m not surprised to see him on the list of nominees of the best goalkeepers in the world.
“Ronwen Williams did really well and not only at the AFCON but at club level as well.”
