Adams Fires Blanks As Montpellier Lose Again
Akor Adams featured for Montpellier who once again suffered another defeat, this time a 4-2 loss at Reims in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday.
Montpellier had lost to AS Monaco 2-1 prior to their trip to Reims.
Adams, who has three goals in seven league games, has now failed to score in back-to-back games.
Marshall Munetsi opened the scoring for Reims before Keito Nakamura added the second on 25 minutes.
In the 37th minute Arnaud Nordin pulled a goal back for Montpellier but Oumar Diakite made it 3-1 in the 57th minute.
Nordin got his second goal to bring the score to 3-2 before Teddy Teuma converted a 93rd minute penalty to wrap up the score at 4-2.
