AFCON 2025Q: Super Eagles Focus On Fitness In First Training Ahead Libya Clash
The Super Eagles trained on the practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, on Tuesday evening.
Eguavoen’s men trained for one hour and thirty-five minutes, with 20 players involved in the session, which focused primarily on fitness exercises.

They also did some ball work. The training was scheduled to start at 5 pm but eventually began 25 minutes late, even though officials were already present before the players arrived.
Tuesday evening’s light training was open to journalists, though it was not intended for media interactions, as a press conference had been scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at the team’s Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State.
