Aribo in Action as Southampton’s Winless Streak Continues

Joe Aribo was in action for Southampton as they played out a 1-1 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion in Friday’s Premier League clash.

The result extends Southampton’s winless run to three matches, comprising two draws and a defeat.

Aribo entered the game in the 66th minute and helped the Saints secure a valuable point, denying Brighton a third consecutive victory.

In 14 appearances this season, Aribo has found the back of the net once. Meanwhile, his compatriot Paul Onuachu was sidelined due to injury and did not feature in the game.

Despite the hard-fought draw, Southampton remains rooted to the bottom of the league table with just five points, having secured only one win from 13 matches.

The Saints will need to turn their form around quickly as they face a tough battle to avoid relegation.
