Balogun Set for Spell on Sidelines After Injury in Rangers’ Match
Leon Balogun sustained an injury during Glasgow Rangers’ Scottish Premier League match against Ross County on Saturday.
The defender, who was included in the starting lineup after missing the previous game—a 2-0 victory over St Johnstone in the Premier Sports Cup—was forced to leave the field after just 40 minutes due to the injury.
The match was briefly halted as Balogun received medical attention on the pitch.
After it was determined that he could not continue, he was substituted and replaced by Mohamed Diomande.
Before his injury, Balogun had completed 53 passes and committed one foul.
Leon Balogun, who has played in three league matches for Rangers this season, is expected to be sidelined for a period of time while he recovers.
