Sunday, a resident of Welfare Quarters, Makurdi, is accused of having carnal knowledge of his stepdaughter without her consent.

The police prosecutor, Inspector James Ewache, told the court that the teenager on August 30 reported the case at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Markudi.

He said the teenager who is not 16 years informed the police that the stepfather had been taking s@xual advantage of her since she was 13.

“He lures her into taking noxious drugs and while under the influence, forcefully takes advantage of her,” the prosecutor said.
