HP expands workforce platform
HP Inc. has announced a series of advancements in its workforce solutions division aimed at helping companies achieve growth by delivering more personalised and fulfilling experiences for employees.
The company said in a statement on Sunday that as part of the new offerings, it was expanding access to its Workforce Experience Platform, giving IT managers enhanced tools, data, and insights to ensure employees remain connected and productive.
For customers who prefer HP to manage their IT environment, the company introduced advanced monitoring solutions and global availability of its Managed Collaboration Services, which proactively resolve incidents before employees are affected.
“We are at the intersection of two major trends—AI and flexible work—and both are having a profound impact on our lives,” said the President of HP Workforce Solutions, Dave Shull.
“At the same time, employees want greater fulfilment, and companies want improved productivity. Our Future-Ready portfolio of software and solutions helps guide companies through this shift.”
The Workforce Experience Platform, which has been in private beta for three months with over 270,000 devices enrolled, is now available at no extra cost to new or renewing HP Proactive Insights customers in the United States.
The platform, according to HP, offers new features that allow customers to monitor, secure, and manage printer performance, as well as PCs, at scale.
These features include AI-powered fleet management and employee sentiment analysis to help reduce IT support tickets and employee downtime through proactive anomaly detection and recommendations.
HP also announced the launch of a new out-of-band remediation service, the first of its kind, which allowed remote support for more complex PC issues, even if the device would not boot.
According to the firm, this service, available later this year in North America and the EU, is part of its effort to address the needs of hybrid workers who expect the same level of support remotely as they would receive in an office.
