Hull City vs Sheffield United prediction

Hull are not fancied to win this clash at home and as a result are out to 9/4 to win and 5/2 to earn a point.

The Blades on the other hand are an attractive price just better than evens, despite being away from home, are unbeaten in their opening four league games, while Hull are winless.

The Tigers have seen three draws and a loss to kick off their new season under new boss Tim Walter, who’s not had the best of starts.

They finished in 7th place last season and will be hoping for a big turnaround to aim for a play-off push that they missed out on last year by just three points.

Hull City vs Sheffield United betting tips

Sheffield United have seen plenty of their top talent from their Premier League status last year leave this season.

While freshly relegated sides can go right back up again, they can also find it tough to settle back into the Championship with plenty of squad changes.

It’s still early days in the league and the Championship has a habit of changing dramatically within a few games let alone across a few months.

They’re far from safe in this clash and while the Blades look like they should win this comfortably, in typical fashion of this league Hull could see it out nicely too.

Sheffield United have drawn 2-2 with QPR, 1-1 with Norwich and narrowly won over Watford in their last clash of the league.

In the EFL Cup they lost 1-0 to Barnsley away from home.

The Blades’ record against Hull is great recently though, with five wins and a draw in their last six fixtures.

All of those came in the Championship but prior to that Hull had won five in seven, and these unbeaten streaks tend not to last.
