I Was Pressured Into Getting A BBL

Appearing on the latest episode of the Love is a Game show, the BBNaija winner shared that she was influenced by the cosmetic surgery trends of 2018, which led her and two friends to go under the knife.

“To be very truthful, it was the trend at the time. I think this was around 2018, and it was the trend, peer pressure, and everyone was doing it. I had a very good form, but the stomach was too much. It was me and two of my other friends, we planned it, paid, and did it together.”

Mercy Eke also opened up about the painful aftermath of the BBL, describing how she had to lie on her stomach for about 14 days to avoid putting pressure on her newly enhanced bum.

“Getting your body massaged after the surgery is the painful part, also not being able to sleep on your bum for 14 days thereabout so you have to lay with your stomach. Also, when the nurses try to massage you to bring the water out.

she added; I feel like people need to be more educated. My bum is the softest you would even touch, it’s just fat, so it feels like water.”

Despite the discomfort, Eke affirmed that the surgery was worth it. She also clarified that, contrary to popular belief, she had not undergone any facial surgeries but had only had fillers in her lips, which dissolve after a few months.
