Ighalo Scores 3rd League Goal Of Season In Al Wehda’s Draw
Odion Ighalo was on target for Al Wehda who were held to a 2-2 draw by Al Fayha in the Saudi Arabia topflight on Thursday.
Ighalo now has three goals in six appearances for Al Wehda and has scored two goals in his last three games.
With eight minutes left to play, Ighalo scored to put Al Wehda 2-1 ahead but Zambia’s Fashion Sakala netted a penalty in the 14th minute of stoppage time to end the game 2-2.
Al Wehda took the lead in the 4th minute through Meshal Al Alaeli before Pozuelo made it 1-1 on 74 minutes.
The draw means Al Wehda are in 13th position on five points after six league games.
Last season Ighalo scored 15 goals in 31 league outings for Al Wehda.
