Ikorodu City Look to Pile Pressure on Rangers Int’l

After their elimination from the CAF Champions League, Rangers have shifted focus to a rescheduled matchday two clash against Ikorodu City in Lagos.

The Flying Antelopes were knocked out of the competition with a 3-2 aggregate loss to Angolan side Sagrada Esperança.

Their fixture against Ikorodu City is set for Wednesday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan.

Fidelis Ilechukwu’s team opened the season with a goalless draw against El-Kanemi Warriors.

Ikorodu United on their part, will be aiming to build on draw at Kwara United by winning the game.

Following the Ikorodu City match, Rangers will host Remo Stars in Enugu.

Rangers secured the league title last season, edging Remo Stars in the title race.

Remo, however, have made a strong start this season, winning all three of their games and emerging as key contenders for the title
