Lil Yachty accused of stealing concept for music video

Lil Yachty is in the midst of another controversy as his music video for the new single “We Ball Forever” was released on October 20th.

Just a day later, fellow rapper Curtis Williams accused Yachty of taking the concept from one of his unreleased songs.

Williams took to Instagram to share side-by-side footage of the videos, highlighting the similarities in the use of fish eye camera lenses and framing.

Williams posted the Lil Yachty comparison on his Instagram Story with the caption: “LMAO COME ON NOW.”

He even suggested that Yachty may have copied his sound, accompanied by crying laughing emojis.

Fans began to debate whether Lil Yachty intentionally took Williams’ video concept or if it was just a coincidence that they both used similar techniques.

Some pointed out that Williams’ video had not been released, making it hard for Yachty to have plagiarized it deliberately.
