Nico Santos Joins Lauren Graham In Tubi Comedy Series ‘The Z-Suite’

EXCLUSIVE: Nico Santos (Superstore, Crazy Rich Asians) is set as a lead opposite Lauren Graham and Madison Shamoun in The Z-Suite, Tubi‘s upcoming comedy series, starring and executive produced by Graham (Gilmore Girls, Parenthood). The multi-generational workplace comedy, from writer, executive producer and showrunner Katie O’Brien (The Santa Clauses, Teachers), is AVOD service’s first homegrown live-action original series.

The Z-Suite is set at a boutique New York ad agency where generational divides see the established C-Suite and rising Gen Z employees collide. After a company decision spirals out of control, the agency’s reigning executives are pushed out and the Z-Suite employees are suddenly put in charge, ultimately testing both generations’ skills and patience.

Santos plays Doug, the exuberant and loyal right hand man to his CEO, Monica (Graham), at the Atelier Advertising Agency. 

The series is also executive produced by Lance Samuels, Samantha Levine, and Daniel Iron of Blue Ice Pictures (Ginny & Georgia), and Eric Wattenberg, Gary Vaynerchuk and Matt Higgins of VaynerWatt. Tubi is producing and maintains global distribution rights. 

Santos was most recently seen in Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3 as Recorder Theel, alongside Miriam Shor and Chukwudi Iwuji, Netflix’s Happiness for Beginners opposite Ellie Kemper, and The Re-Education of Molly Singer opposite Britt Robertson. He previouly starred as Mateo in NBC’s Superstore and in Warner Bros.’ Crazy Rich Asians, alongside Constance Wu, Henry Golding, and Ken Jeong. Santos is repped by Greene Talent, Spektor Entertainment and Yorn, Levine, Barnes, Krintzman, Rubenstein, Kohner, Endlich, Goodell & Gellman.
