NPFL: Amokachi Disappointed With Lobi Stars’ Loss To Sunshine Stars

Lobi Stars technical adviser Daniel Amokachi has expressed disappointment with the team’s defeat to Sunshine Stars.

The Makurdi club lost 1-0 to Sunshine Stars in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday 12 encounter at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode on Sunday.

Lobi Stars put up a strong showing in the game but were let down by their poor finishing.

Amokachi reckoned it is important for them to move from the defeat and focus on the task ahead.

“We fashioned scoring chances and enjoyed an advantage but failed to seize it,” he told the club’s media.

“The season from onset has been demanding; however, we remain steadfast.

” We will review, address our shortcomings, and persevere.”

Lobi Stars will host Kano Pillars in their next Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) on Sunday.
