NPFL: Remo Stars Sign 15 New Players

Remo Stars Football Club have confirmed the signing of 15 new players ahead of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.

The new players include the duo of ThankGod Ikeagwu, and Ismael Souley who joined from Kwara United; Chiemeka Nwokeji joined from Sporting Lagos, Alex Oyowah (Rivers United), Faisal Sani (Kano Pillars), Ifeanyi Anaemena (Abia Warriors) and Shuaib Ibrahim (AS Police).

Others are Adebiyi Obassa (Coton Sport), Michael Ani Emmauel (Green Sport FC, Abuja).

The duo of Malik Jabbar and Shuaibu Abdulrasaq were signed from Oma Football Academy), Joseph Abah (Dolly P Sport FA) and Oluwasegun Aremu (Agbele Sporting, Oyo).

The club also confirmd the departure of the following players upon the expiration of their contracts and some on loan moves; Emmanuel Ofori Charles Tambe, Aniekeme Okon, Adebayo Abayomi, Victor Collins, Price Ikemdinachi, Seth Mayi, Adams Olamilekan, Isaac James, Ekundayo Ojo, Habib Yakubu, and Sheriff Yinusa.

Remo Stars will commence the new NPFL season with a clash against Abia Warriors FC on Sunday, September 8.
