Partick Thistle manager Kris Doolan hails new signing Terry Ablade’s pace and enthusiasm

Partick Thistle manager Kris Doolan has expressed his enthusiasm following the signing of Finnish-born Ghanaian striker Terry Ablade.

Kris Doolan believes Ablade brings a unique set of skills to the squad.

The manager praised Ablade’s speed and aggressive runs, which he thinks will stretch opposing defenses and create space for the team.

“We’ve been looking at adding another striker to the squad for a while now and I’ve always maintained that the player we bring in has to provide something different to what we already have and Terry fits that bill,” he told Partick Thistle FC Communications.

“He’s got pace and a willingness to make testing runs that can really stretch the opposition and open up space for the rest of the team.

“Having only arrived last night, he was in training with us for the first time today and we were impressed with what we saw. His effort was first class and I think he’ll be a real asset for us this season.”
