PlayStation 5 30th Anniversary Slim Bundle Price Reportedly Leaks Online
The PlayStation system is set to celebrate 30 years since its release, and Sony is planning a big release of consoles and accessories that harken back to the original console. A new PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Slim, controllers, Original PlayStation controller-style cable connector housing, and more will be a part of bundles released on Nov. 21.

Sony released a video that showcases the new consoles sporting the original gray color scheme and four-color logo. The hype for the new nostalgic systems and accessories has been palpable, but fans have not yet discovered what the price will be for each bundle.
Preorders for the console bundles and accessories will start on Sep. 26, which will release the prices for the new bundles. However, it appears at least one of the bundle prices has been leaked.

According to known and reliable PlayStation leaker billbil-kun via an article in Dealabs, the price for the PlayStation 5 30th anniversary bundle will be $499.99.
“So, the limited edition PS5 Slim (Digital Edition) console bundle will cost exactly $499.99 USD. This represents an additional cost of $50 USD compared to the classic model. It is estimated that the bundle will cost around €519.99 and GBP449.99 in Europe.”
The article also indicates that the PlayStation DualSense 30th Anniversary controller will be set at $79.99 USD, which is the same price the recent Astro Bot DualSense controller was set at.
According to the release from Sony, the PS5 Slim Bundle will include:
- PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle
- Includes the limited edition PS5 Digital Edition console with 1TD SSD and matching limited edition accessories – DualSense wireless controller and a Console Cover for a Disc Drive (Disc Drive sold separately).
- It also includes a Vertical Stand and special collector’s Items:
- Original PlayStation controller-style cable connector housing
- Four PlayStation Shapes cable ties
- PlayStation sticker
- Limited Edition PlayStation Poster (1 of 30 possible designs)
- PlayStation Paperclip
So far, Sony has not released prices for any bundle, and fans have only been guessing what the price might be. The concern for the price is especially true considering Sony dropped the massive $699 price tag on the PlayStation 5 Pro.
The issue is many believe that the specs for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro are similar, making the $699 price tag that much more confusing.

The good news is that if Sony dials back on the price tag for the new 30th Anniversary consoles, then $499 will be far more manageable. Based on the bundle specifics, $499 is also not a big price for all that comes with the bundle.
Sony might release price specifics ahead of the pre-orders going live, but for now — fans can find out 30th Anniversary bundle prices when the pre-orders go live on Sep. 26.
