Plies Sues GloRilla, Megan Thee Stallion, and Cardi B for Copyright Infringement Over Hit Song ‘Wanna Be’

GloRilla’s ‘Wanna Be’ may have been one of her biggest Hot 100 songs to date, but according to a recent lawsuit filed by fellow rapper Plies, the song could end up in court.

According to documents acquired by TMZ, Plies (born Algernod Washington) is suing GloRilla for ‘Wanna Be,’ stating that the song violates the copyright of his 2004 song ‘Me & My Goons.’GloRilla Biography, Age, Wiki, Instagram, Songs, Albums, Boyfriend, Net Worth, and Career

Because Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B are listed as features on the official remix of the Glo cut, the ‘WAP‘ hitmakers have also been named defendants in the suit.  Even Soulja Boy, whose 2010 smash ‘Pretty Boy Swag’ is the credited sample in ‘Wanna Be,’ was named a co-defendant.Megan Thee Stallion shows off her curvy figure in a green and blue string bikini (Video)
