Pretty Mike Claims Magodo Is the Epicenter of Women’s Extramarital Affairs
Pretty Mike, a socialite, claims Magodo is a safe sanctuary for ladies in adulterous relationships.
In a recent interview with Arise TV, the nightlife promoter they claimed that many women in Magodo, suspicious of their husbands’ infidelity, had turned to covert liaisons to pursue personal pleasure, frequently without their spouses’ knowledge.
Mike’s remarks come in the wake of the crisis involving Baltasar Engonga, Equatorial Guinea’s now-dismissed anti-corruption chief, who became entangled in controversy after explicit tapes surfaced showing him with many women.
Mike emphasized cultural distinctions in open marriages, pointing out that certain communities allow extramarital affairs when both parties agree.
He elaborated, “In certain communities, it’s accepted for husbands to be with other women and wives to pursue similar arrangements.”
The socialite claimed this trend is prominent in Lagos, particularly in the Magodo area.
“Magodo is the epicentre. Married women there are frequently involved with younger men, unbeknownst to their husbands,” he asserted.
Mike suggested that some women engage in these affairs out of a desire for “fair play,” reacting to perceived indiscretions by their partners.
“They know their husbands are straying, so they say, ‘If they can, why not us?’” he explained.
Magodo, situated in Lagos’ Kosofe LGA, lies between the Ikosi-Ketu and Ojodu Berger districts.
Known for his headline-grabbing stunts, Pretty Mike disclosed in 2022 that he has fathered six children with different women.
