Remo Stars Secure Third Straight Victory with Win At Kano Pillars

Remo Stars continued their flawless start to the Nigeria Premier Football League season, recording a 2-0 away victory against Kano Pillars, in Katsina, on Sunday.
Heading into the match, Kano Pillars had collected four points from their first two games, while Remo Stars boasted back-to-back wins.
Despite playing away from home, last season runners-up quickly took control, dominating the early stages.
The breakthrough came in the 26th minute when right-back Sodiq Ismail fired Remo Stars into the lead with a well-taken strike.
Any hopes of a Kano Pillars comeback were dashed early in the second half, as Togolese forward Frank Mawuena scored just four minutes after the restart.
The victory marks Remo Stars’ third consecutive win, making them the only team to maintain a perfect record in the NPFL this season.
