Sadiq Helps Sociedad Beat Espanyol Away To Secure First Win

Umar Sadiq was in action for Real Sociedad who beat Espanyol 1-0 to register their first win in the Spanish topflight on Saturday.

Sadiq was introduced in the 67th minute for his first appearance in the league this season.

Sociedad went into the game having lost their opening fixture 2-1 at home to Rayo Vallecano.

Japan’s Takefusa Kubo was the hero for Sociedad as his 80th minute strike was enough to secure the win.

Meanwhile, Christantus Uche saw action for 90 minutes as Getafe played goalless at home against Vallecano.

Uche marked his LaLiga debut by netting Getafe’s goal in their 1-1 draw away to Athletic Bilbao.
