Skales loses 15million due to flight cancellation, drags airline
Nigerian musician Skales has expressed frustration after losing N15 million over a flight cancellation by a Nigerian airline.
The singer in a video shared on his verified Instagram on Friday called out an airline, Green Africa airline for cancelling his flight because the pilot was unwell.
According to the 33-year-old, he had arrived early at the airport to book his flight, but an officer at the airport informed him that his flight had been cancelled.
Expressing disappointment, the singer noted that he was booked for a performance at Akure and had lost significant money due to the cancellation.
Sharing a video from the airport, Skales wrote: “Wow! I booked a flight to Akure… got to the airport early, checked in, and suddenly, you cancel the flight because your pilot is sick?
“This is unbelievable. I have lost money (I was paid N15 million by @seyivodi, for f*** sake) because of your horrible customer service. Did you know all along that your pilot was sick, or is this some kind of sick joke? You waited until flight time to inform us. I just can’t believe this. This country, man… we go see.”
