Why I shut down my 6-year-old perfume business, laid off staff – OAP N6
Rapper and On-Air-Personality, Nnamdi Nwabasili, known as OAP N6, recently shared the unfortunate closure of his perfume business due to the harsh economic policies under the leadership of Bola Tinubu.
In a tweet,OAP N6 explained that he had to shut down his six-year-old business in March 2024 because his customers could not afford the new prices following an increase in interest rates. This decision also resulted in laying off his nine employees.
His post was in response to activist Akin Olaoye, who announced the closure of his business location in Allen Avenue, Ikeja.
Many other social media users echoed their frustrations about the struggling economy and its impact on businesses, while some expressed sympathy towards N6 and Akin Olaoye.
