Wrestling fans hail ‘GOAT’ Attitude Era star Jeff Jarrett as he wows Wembley Stadium with incredible cameo at AEW All In
Jeff Jarrett rolled back the years with an iconic cameo at AEW’s All In at London’s Wembley Stadium on Sunday night.
The 57-year-old veteran, a star of both WWE and WCW in the famed Attitude Era, was given a thunderous reaction by a crowd well in excess of 50,000 as he entered the Casino Gauntlet match.

Fans had already been treated to a couple of surprises – Brit wrestler turned commentator Nigel McGuinness also donned the tights once more with an entry, while former WWE star Ricochet also made his long-awaited debut for the company in the match.
The bout, which earned the victor a future AEW World Championship match, was won by Christian Cage -another WWE alumni – but after the bell, social media was full of love for Jarrett.
‘Double J’, who’d previously earned similar plaudits earlier in the week during an outing against Ariya Daivari in Cardiff, the entire crowd serenading him with football-style chants.
At All In, his arrival was greeted by the quip from the commentary table acknowledging his popularity: “Here’s another national hero who’s not from this country!”
Jarrett strutted to the ring and exchanged blows with rival Hangman Adam Page, before being tossed from the ring on to a collective of wrestlers on the ringside floor.
Moments later, with Page confronting Jarrett’s wife on the other side of the ring, the Tennessean delighted the crowd by nailing the star with a guitar over the head – one of the trademarks from his exceptional career.
A thrilled X revelled in the madness, one user saying: “Man, if you don’t like Jeff Jarrett maybe wrestling aint for you.”
Another said: “[It’s] 2024 and Jeff Jarrett is getting one of the biggest pops of the night, while a third acknowledged: “…I love to see this. He’s a showman that has the crowd in the palm of his hand because his craft of storytellers is dying so we cling to it. Outstanding, JJ.”
Other fans could barely contain their excitement during the match, one going on to say: “I think the Nigel return broke my brain so much I was just incoherently screaming by the time Jeff Jarrett came out.”
Another would insist: “Jeff Jarrett don’t get the respect he deserves that man, a GOAT.”

The legend made his wrestling debut the better part of 40 years ago, first joining WWE in 1992 when his country music gimmick was born.
He duelled with the likes of Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon and held the Intercontinental title before leaving for WCW, returning in 1998 with the Attitude Era in full flow.
His second stint ended in hugely controversial fashion – he dropped the Intercontinental title to Chyna in 1999, but not before ‘holding up’ WWE Owner Vince McMahon for a six-figure sum before heading to the ring to settle a contractual dispute.
He’s continued to perform the likes of New Japan, TNA and again sporadically for WWE before his AEW debut in 2022.
AEW All In was headlined by Bryan Danielson’s emotional victory over Swerve Strickland to capture the AEW World Championship.
Danielson had said he’d retire should he fail to win the title but ended the night victorious in feelgood scenes at the end of the night.
